Review: Garnier BB Cream!

Hey Everyone!

Today I'm doing a review of the Garnier BB "Miracle Skin Perfector" BB Cream. Just a little background info on BB creams; BB stands for Blemish Balm. It is said to be originally formulated from Germany and was used in Asian countries primarily. It claims to have skin whitening, anti ageing and many other 'miracle' properties. BB creams also contain SPF UV protection.

Now more specifically into the Garnier BB Cream. It's advertised as a 5-in-1 cream. The cream supposedly:

1. Hydrates for 24hrs
2. Evens tone
3. Corrects blemishes
4. Boosts healthy glow
5. Contains UV Protection SPF 15

My Review:   I have been using this products for a couple months now and have fallen in love! I use it nearly everyday. It is what I would describe as half way between a tinted moisturiser and a foundation. It provides light coverage and feels light and easy on your skin. I also notice it really improves pigmentation and evens out skin tone wonderfully. Anti-wrinkle isn't much of an issue for me (yet!) so I can't comment on that aspect of the product but it has helped marvellously for all my skin concerns.

Would I recommend this product: Yes! I don't even need to think twice. I would 100% recommend this to anybody and everybody. It's suitable for any age from teenager right up to grannies! Perfect for everyday use as it's light but has moderate coverage.

Tips: If you feel you need slightly more coverage I would recommend applying a little concealer over the cream and you should be good to go. Set with powder as otherwise the product may feel a little greasy throughout the day. Depends on your skin type though. I would say you only need a small amount. BB Cream isn't what I'd call a build able coverage type of product, It's just becomes greasy so keep it minimal and then apply concealer for any places that require it.

Anything else? Hopefully this review has helped you. I would definitely recommend Garnier's BB Cream. It's available from Boots and any good drugstores/pharmacies. The retail price is €14.99/₤9.99 but seems to be on sale at the moment on Boot.com and superdrug.com for ₤7.49. It's available in two shades: Light and medium but fear not! It blends very well into your natural skin tone. As the shades are quite limited check it out in store before deciding to purchase for sure.

If you have tried out any BB Creams leave your thoughts in the comment section below!

Mini Beauty Haul!

Hey Everyone! So this is just a mini beauty haul. Everything purchased by me :) The O.P.I. is a gift from me to a friend but thought I should just add it in anyway cause it's really pretty.

Above is the Sleek Brows Kit in the shade light. It comes with eyebrow wax (right) and powder (left). It also comes with a mini angled brush for the wax and another mini shadow brush. The brushes really remind me of the mini Benefit concealer brushes that come in their kits! A mini tweezer also comes in the kit. The kit was €9.10 on beautyemporium.ie.

This product I am so super excited about I can barely contain myself! This was also purchase from Beautyemporium.ie and cost €5.75. I have never seen EOS lip balms anywhere else in Ireland, in stores or online so was very excited when I found this. They have a variety of flavours but this was the only one in stock. I am still delighted with it though. It is the flavour lemon drop and contains SPF15 which is always a plus!

This is the O.P.I nail polish in Last Friday Night from the Katy Perry for O.P.I collection. I purchased this from beautyfeatures.ie at €8.50. This is a gift for a friend of mine so I obviously haven't tried it out but it looks gorgeous and is packed with silver, aqua and blue glitter. I am so tempted to buy one for myself!

For more detail and product review of the NAKED2 Palette by Urban Decay stay tuned for a second blog post that is a comparison/review of the original NAKED compared to the NAKED2!
